EXOBIOMES

EXOBIOMES is the title of the individual exhibition proposed to Alalimón Art Gallery (Barcelona).

The conceptual framework of the exhibition project is encompassed within the idea of recreating a synthetic nature, aesthetically beautiful but unreal. Each of the proposed pieces represents, under different formats, an aesthetic and tangible formalization of some concept or natural process, whose very essence makes it hermetic to our senses, revealing our own biological limitations as a species.

Through the technological tools and the data that we have today, we speculate and fantasize, through artistic practice, to re-create new landscapes or alternative biomes to the ones we already know.

These fictional territories are the propitious place to accept and normalize a landscape as natural when, in fact, it is not.
