Moving cloud is a mobile device that transforms meteorological data into experience. It sits at the intersection of art, science and public space, proposing a new way for people to relate to the atmospheric and climatic environment.

The piece operates as a weather station, collecting real-time data —temperature, humidity, pressure, airborne particles, etc.— and translating it into visual and sound languages. This translation aims to create a perceptual experience that allows people to “feel” the climate beyond its numerical representation.

Formally, the speculative artefact draws inspiration from the idea of a cloud: a light, flexible structure in constant transformation. Through translucent materials and a range of sensors and devices, the piece takes on an almost organic behaviour, evoking and reinterpreting meteorological processes.

The project also introduces a performative dimension. Designed to move and be installed across different urban contexts, it offers a live, close and evolving experience for the public.
